ABOUT THE HOSTEL

Hangover Hostels offers you the opportunity to enjoy island life, kick back and rejuvenate at the fraction of the cost it would normally take. However, do not let our concept of affordable luxury or budget hostel fool you into thinking you will be ‘roughing it out’, We have gone to great lengths to ensure you enjoy the best of comfort, service and affordability that no one else can offer you.

Our budget hostel in Mirissa is located just seconds from the picturesque Mirissa Beach, which means your accommodation and beach life are entwined for a complete seaside experience. The hostel’s dining area and common room set the stage for you to connect and interact with fellow travelers, thus expanding your horizons as well as contributing to the overall party vibe of Hangover Hostels. Our overhead deck gives awesome views of the beach and is also the ideal place for some yoga early in the morning.

Feel like relaxing indoors? You can sit and immerse yourself in a book or challenge your friends to a few indoor games such as Carrom, cards, Jenga or even Monopoly.

This dorm comes with a large en-suite bathroom.
Fully AC and has highspeed WiFi.
All beds are cushioned with a 9 inch Spring mattress which guarantees a good night sleep.
Personal bedside reading lamp, plug point & USB port to charge those essential handheld devises.
Individual Lockers that will easily fit in a large backpack
All linen provided and towels can be hired from the reception.
Bathroom has hot water and the high pressure rain water shower is sure to impress.
Daily housekeeping staff.

4 BED FEMALE ONLY DORM

GETTING THERE

There are three easy routes to get to Hangover Hostels Mirissa:

1. Luxury A/C Bus :
Board a luxury A/C bus from the Maharagama Bus Station that will take you to Matara within two hours. Get off at Noope Junction (the bus conductor will be more than happy to help you out) and travel about 10 km backwards via bus and get off at the bus stop near the Mirissa Coast Guard. Walk forward for a couple of minutes and you will find Hangover Hostels on your left hand side (land side).

2. Bus along the Coast :
Those who wish to travel along the coast, there are several buses that run along the Galle Road from the Fort Bus Station.

3. Train :
If you fancy a train ride, you’ll find the journey from Colombo Fort to be a treat.
It takes you to Weligama from where it is only a 6km Bus or Tuktuk ride to Mirissa.
